Hi! I am Veronika Chmelikova, and I am from Pardubice in the beautiful Czech Republic. I live now, in Aberdeen, in the breathtakingly stunning highlands of Scotland. I made the move to the United Kingdom in 2004 to pursue my career in medicine. During my studies it was essential that my English had to be "Top notch", and I ended up having to study the language as much as I had to study the course work at University.

There is one thing that friends and colleagues have often commented on is that...I don't have a strong accent: In fact, sometimes people have tried to guess where in the UK I grew up. Actually, to get a grip on the language you do need to change the way you think and to understand the letters, and the way that words are constructed as each language is quite different.

Ok... I have a passion for language and for teaching it. Can you tell?

I am a TEFL Advanced Dip Tutor, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and an Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber and I created this website myself, as I wanted to learn something new and wish to evolve it in the best way to benefit my friends and students. I specialise in General English, Medical English and IELTS exam preparation.

Because of my background, with nearly 20 years in the UK healthcare system, I can offer specifically detailed, tailored Medical English to foreign professionals with interests in subjects such as critical care, acute medicine, GP land or aesthetics.

I am personally dedicated to tutoring and mentoring all ages, anyone who is aiming to achieve the highest levels, or has a passion for English like I do.

Weather you want to learn English for work or for leisure, the path will be fun, interesting and enjoyable - there is nothing better than communicating.
